15-Point Plumbing Service Checklist
Our Annual Plumbing Maintenance Plan (UP) includes the following 15-point service check:
- Check water quality (pH, hardness, iron) where applicable.
- Perform a visual inspection of existing water treatment equipment.
- Check static water pressure.
- Check toilets for proper operation and dye check for leaks.
- Perform a visual inspection of water lines.
- Perform a visual inspection of drain lines.
- Perform a visual inspection of traps and shut off valves to fixtures.
- Check outdoor hose faucets for proper operation.
- Inspect washing machine hoses and the shut off valve.
- Gas or electric water heater: flush water heater, clean burner, test elements, inspect expansion tank, add air as needed, and check anode rod.
- Manually check sump pump and or basement sewage pump as applicable (operation and amp draw).
- Test the well pump, amp draw, well tank pressure, and switch.
- Perform a visual inspection of the house trap and risers.
- Perform a visual inspection of all faucets and fixtures.
- Report findings and make recommendations.

Gas Heating 15-Point Service Check
Your Priority YOU Membership entitles you to one annual maintenance check of your gas system, including:
- Inspect the flue pipes and the chimney base.
- Inspect/clean condensate drains and traps.
- Remove and clean the burner assembly.
- Check thermostat settings and batteries.

- Perform a visual check of the gas line.
- Inspect amp draw of motors.

Oil Heating 15-Point Service Check
During an annual oil heating system inspection, our technicians:
- Clean the flue pipes and the chimney base.
- Clean the burner and nozzle assembly.
- Check thermostat settings and batteries.
- Check the fan and limit control safeties.
- Inspect the oil tank condition.
- Brush and vacuum the heat exchanger.
- Check the ignition transformer.
