Our History

1953

Bob Ranck bought the first Ranck company truck.

1957

Purchase of the existing property on Marietta Ave.

1970

Main services offered were plumbing, heating, and residential new construction with a staff of five personnel.

1983

Added air conditioning installation and service for customers.

1987

Bob Ranck retired. Jay Denlinger, Glenn Brubaker, and Joe Ranck became majority partners of the company.

1989

The current Ranck shop was built.

2009

The Ranck office relocated from the existing house on the property to the second floor of the shop behind the barn.

2011

Acquisition of Lin Good & Sons business and employees growing staff to forty-four personnel.

2017

(July) Ranck sold to Worley & Obetz; Acquired Swisher & Triangle business and employees growing staff to fifty-five personnel.

2018

(June) RRAC LLC acquired Ranck.

2020

(October) Acquisition of Melron Plumbing business and employees.

2021

Added Excavation services for customers.
