“For years we have struggled to equalize the upstairs/downstairs temperature in our home.  We would open and close registers, turn on ceiling fans – we even closed off two rooms – yet it remained too hot upstairs and too cold downstairs.  Even with the air-conditioner set at 58 at night, sleeping comfortably was difficult.

The main purpose for investigating dehumidifiers was to remedy issues in our musty basement.  We looked at portable units before learning about whole-house dehumidifiers.  The concept made sense so we decided to have one installed.

We were not expecting the huge improvement in comfort brought about by the whole-house dehumidifier.  To our utter amazement, it has remedied the temperature fluctuations we’ve struggled with for the 20 years we’ve had air-conditioning.  It’s now comfortable throughout the entirety of the home, including the basement, even though the thermostat is set 5 degrees higher than before.

The sales consultant was patient and informative.  Installation of the product was done in a timely manner, and the crew cleaned up after themselves.  The call-back from the sales consultant to explain the new thermostat was greatly appreciated.
