Our Installation Process

At Ranck, we follow this proven mini-split AC installation process: 

• Planning: We start by choosing the right location, considering factors like window and door placement, insulation, and room size. We also determine the unit size, selecting an appropriately sized unit for the space to ensure efficient operation. 
• Internal unit installation: Our team securely mounts the bracket to a sturdy wall, ensuring it’s level and properly supported. They drill a hole in the wall to route the electrical cables, drain pipe, and refrigerant lines between the indoor and outdoor units. After that, they run the lines and cables through the hole and connect them to the indoor unit. 
• Outdoor unit installation: We carefully attach the unit to the mounting bracket, using pilot holes and appropriate mounting hardware to prevent vibrations. We also route the refrigerant line set between the outdoor and indoor units. 
• Connections and testing: Our expert installers carefully connect the refrigerant lines to ensure proper tightness and prevent leaks. They connect the electrical wires and ensure proper grounding and test for proper operation. 
• Final inspection and cleanup: We conduct a final inspection to ensure everything is running efficiently and safely, then remove any debris and clean up the installation area.
